The Lake of
Iseo has hundreds of kilometres of bicycle paths to choose
from. There are marvellous excursion paths among the
Franciacorta vineyards where you can discover the flavours
of a world-famous land. You could also chose an itinerary
that takes you among the noble residences and farms that
produce a wine of international reputation. The sweet,
rolling hills and the beauty of the landscape make this a
very special place for getting away from traffic and
congestion on your bicycle. The way from Timoline di
Cortefranca to Provaglio d’Iseo is rich with suggestion,
and, passing the monastery of San Pietro in Lamosa, in a few
minutes we reach the nature reserve Torbiere di Iseo, after
which you may continue on foot. The Montisola itinerary is
certainly rich in emotion. Cycling along the roads that
link Peschiere Ma raglio, Sensole and Menzino, you reach
Rocca di Sensole where you can get a panorama view of the
lake. From here, continue along until you get to
Sinchignano, Siviano and then Carzano from which you can see
the little island of Loreto. Further down the lake road you
arrive in Peschiera Maraglio. For more expert riders, we
suggest the more difficult ride from Marone in the direction
of Zone that arrives in Cislano. This ride is short, but
has steep inclines. Arriving in the big parking lot next to
the church of San Giorgio, walk up to the rest stops, where
you can admire the earthwork pyramids or the pyramids of
Zone. Another suggested route runs from Riva di Solto along
the Bergamo shore on an uphill road with a beautiful
panoramic view that takes you to Zorzino. The road
continues to Solto Colina and, after a series of curves on
the downhill, reaches the Lake of Endine. For any
